Intelligent. Lively. Captivating. That was the important part of the brief for the creative team when we started working on rebranding Zodiac Inflight Innovations' premier inflight entertainment system - RAVE. We were fortunate to have a savvy Creative Director on the client side, so we were given the room to push the branding. But we also had to account for the popularity of RAVE's legacy mascot, Mr. Rave; the character had a large following in Asian markets.
We started with the color palette - blues and a deep green to acknowledge Zii's aerospace beginnings, coupled with highlights and a versatile, energetic typeface in Lato. From there, our focus moved to custom assets to demonstrate the RAVE system's capabilites - everything from 3D renders and composites to photography and trade show booths.
